    "old hippies" is redundant.  If you're a hippie, by definition you're old.  And don't forget - never trust anyone over 35.

    And yes I do get a kick out of old farts with the long gray ponytails, tie dyed shirts and of course sandles. Talk about living the past :-)

    Close enough, no ponytail, or sandals, yes on the gray hair, have a six pack, not a keg, been called an old fart[more than once], drink Fireball out of a boda bag that stays in the cooler, try not to take life too seriously and have fun!

    We had a couple of these for sea kayaking that we've been using in the T@B for drinking water.  I throw them in the shower while bouncing down the road, and then throw them in the bottom cabinet below the sink when parked.  Never had one leak and they're at least 10 years old.  Glad they still make them,  the Nalgene cap is bombproof, and I have a backpacking filter that fits snug on the lid if necessary.

    This one is actually very special. A real good friend of mine made it before he passed last year, and it's covered with doeskin, has a strap for carrying, and rinse-able plastic insert. got to keep in the cooler to keep it cold though! B)

    I have one too, also with plastic liner, but yours clearly has special sentimental value. Mine carries red wine. I have Basque friends that made the introduction years ago.  Great for camping for sure!
