@PXLated I searched high and low and could not find the thread, but I remember you trying a couple of different methods of storing water containers on the ledge in your bathroom. If I remember correctly, you were using a tension bar and wall mount holders for the rod. How did it work out?

This is an idea I will probably try out. Hard to have too much water when boondocking....especially with our 5 gallon freshwater tanks.

I've gotten pretty good at using water efficiently that I've managed to get rid of the other 3 gallons I carried in the TV as backup.

@PXLated maybe I should use the tape idea on those inexpensive 2 1/2 gallon jugs. They lasted about 6 weeks before they started leaking. I gave them away (I hate to throw away stuff that could be useable) to someone who needed them just for filling up the fresh water tank. The person was fully aware that they had a leak. It was a great way to carry cooking and hand washing water while I was winterized.

MSR Dromedary. You have to be careful with the plastic cap where the smaller cap screws onto the larger plastic cap. If you drop the larger cap on the neck it will nick the top and the smaller cap will leak. I carry extra caps now. Only dropped twice in the past five years.
They hold up very well. I used to run rivers and they can handle a lot of abuse. Now they get banged about while offroading (without the T@b in tow).
