For those of you who (commendably) agonize over dump station protocols and whether it's okay to water the trees with a quart of dishwater, I offer the following observations from my recent travels:

Three identical spotless full-size trucks towing equally spotless big, bigger, and biggest trailers pull in together. First order of business is to break out the buckets, hoses, scrub brushes, and chemical spray products and wash the equipment.

The rinse hose at the dump station is out of order. Guy shoves his drain line over the adjacent clearly marked drinking water spigot and flushes away.
