    Yep - Last year I was in a ghost town shooting when it hit 107. Not a tree in sight. Fled to the nearest place with trees I could hold up at. Would have been miserable otherwise.
    If there's trees, I'll find them - Was at Kelso dunes in the middle of the Mohave desert - found the only three trees for 40 miles :-)
