Removing cushions

Has anyone removed the sticky command strips and staple from the wall behind the cushions?  If so, did it ruin the wall's surface?  I'd  like to permanently remove the corner cushions.

You will still see the holes from staples.

Did it peel off the wall covering under the velcro strip?  Thank you!

OK to remove Velcro from walls. I did so and can't see staple holes unless I really look for them. Just take it slow and pull staples straight out.

Agree with OutbackAZ.  We removed ours and you have to look real close to see the tiny staple holes.  Peel slowly, then use magic eraser for any residue.

Use a hairdryer to heat up the velcro tape so it will peel off easier.Dont get it too hot or you will damage the wallpaper.

I 2nd the hairdryer. It's also good to take off any vinyl stickers outside you don't like. The residual glue can be taken off with a variety of solvents. Start with the weakest and move up. My walls were painted and had no wall paper, so I can't tell you which stuff to use to get rid of any residual glue without damaging the wall paper.
