New T@B family member

HI!!!  We are very excited!  We just purchased a 2017 T@B Q max.  We are so happy to downsize from our current generic style trailer.  Yes there were trade offs.  So what.  All worth it.  We love it!  We will pick it up Friday or Saturday.  We will post pictures of our first trip.  We couldn't be happier.  Thanks for all the helpful input in previous posts.  We started by looking at used and finally moved up to new.

My home base is the California central coast.  We have a nice selection  of beach and Lake camping near by.  We pick it up Saturday.  Can't wait to get it all packed and organized.  We are actually down-sizing from a larger trailer.  We decided we don't like dumping black water tanks and dealing with sway bars.  We don't need a microwave or an oven.  We know we will have some extras to bring along outside of the trailer, but we think it is worth the trade off.  Ours is white with red trim.  We ordered an XL ball cap visor and cover last night from the teardrop shop.  :)
  • Congrats!!! Welcome to the forum.

  • On our way to pick up our T@b right now.  Think we will might name her Coccinella, which is  lady bug in Italian.  I am not Italian but I like the way it sounds in that language.  Of course I can also just call her Lady Bug.
  • Welcome!  You are now officially living the dream...   grin...

  • Greetings to all my fellow T@Bbers.  I wanted to share a photo of Bruce & I taken by our new 2017 Q Max.  The little furry ones are Bear & Molly.  We just finished our first weekend trip to give her a spin and had a great time.  A couple of things to figure out though.  Mainly I have to look up how to adjust the water temperature.  There was a little tag on the sink that said I would need to do that and to refer to the owner's manual.  The hot position was just slightly warmer than the cold.
  • Congrats!

    That looks like American RV!

  • Hi Eddie,
It is American RV co. in Azusa

  • Hi Toni

Thought it looked familiar, had some warranty work done there a few years ago.

  • Hi Merciline,  thanks for the information.  I have requested to be included in the group.  Afraid we won't be able to make it to that rally though.  Thanks anyway.
  • Congratulations and welcome.  That's a great picture too.  I hope your new T@b serves you well.
