PopT@b Looking forward to your input on the accuracy of the system. I have had several RVs with this type of sensor. In most cases they were fairly deep tanks 10" to 12" plenty of room to space out the sensors. Our Tab tanks are so long and shallow I wonder how effective the readings will be if the trailer is not perfectly level front to back side to side.
Also very interested in knowing where you place the sensors on the black water tank. The black tank is the one I am most interested in.- Hash T@B Fun

Make sure you take some pics during the install if you can. I'd like to see how the senders mount on permanently and just where you came up with the wiring too. I'm guessing you probably drill downward and out of the trailer?

@ScottG thanks! We are getting several error messages on our Seelevel so this weekend we'll use all the helpful tips from the forum and try to trouble shoot the issue. More posts to come if we cant figure it out. Unfortunately, we had such a bad experience with our dealer that we refuse to go back for any repairs. Luckily we have figured out how to fix the few issues we've had by consulting the forum.

This is the basic wiring diagram and might help out.... How long have you been getting the errors? Did you ever resolve your prior issue?

@Michigan_Mike, we're on our second seelevel since purchasing our T@B. First one wasnt working while still on lot so we refused to leave until it was replaced. Second one worked fine the first few months but the last 3 trips the gray reads err, the fresh reads opn, and black works fine (same issue that I think Pop-T@B was having). We unscrewed the unit from wall and everything looked intact, no loose wiring. You had some tips from a previous post that we'll try this wknd with the wiring at the panel. Not looking forward to crawling underneath and having to take cover off to inspect the sensors. In fact, not even sure it's possible for me to remove the cover.

I wouldn't remove the covering as the sensors are probably okay. One thing I did when I installed my system in my trailer was to run in a separate ground and hotwire to the display unit. It could be a bad circuit board but it probably has something to do with the wiring. I got error and open messages too.

I looked over the thread this afternoon, and learned about how the See Level works. On the front cover of the manual Michigan Mike linked to, there are numbers or "Signal Level" and "Sender Height." On my manual, the "signal level" is marked with 90 for the black, 59 for grey, and 39 for the fresh. The sender heights are 6, 4, and 4. Are these numbers telling me anything I can really use or are they just an installer notation?

I really don't know what the first set of numbers means or relates to? I'm guessing the second set relates to the height of the sending unit itself as two of the cards are the same size (fresh & black tanks - 4") and the gray tank has the tallest card (6"). The units have tabs on them and two of the tabs are cut off and one card has its tab intact. This allows the senders to monitor the volume of fluid in each tank and communicate this data back to the digital monitor.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ
