    Battery Charge Chart

    Description: Handy chart that relates battery voltage to percent state of charge. Note that 12.1V is a 50% state of charge. Allowing your battery to deplete below this point can cause permanent damage.

    2018 and early 2019 factory installed solar charge controller.


    The Bluetooth enabled charge controller is manufactured by the Chinese firm SRNE and marketed under various brands.  You will see HP-PWM-40BT or SR-HP2440-B 40A PWM or others.  The controller is mounted under the bed out of direct view and you use a smart phone to access the controller display and operation.  You must download an app to your phone to view the display.

    Android users:  Go to the Google Play Store and search “Solarlink” for the Solarlink app by Nansong Zhang.  It will ask for an administrative password:  135790123   Alternatively, search and download the app “Renogy BT”.

    iPhone users:  Go to the App Store and search “Nansong Zhang” for the “Solar app” 

    The solar company Grape Solar has an app for Android and iPhones that provides more info, logs and graphs.  
    Email Support@grapesolar.com and request the link to the app for the Grape Solar 40A Controller.

    (This information updated 8/28/20 by Sharon_is_Sam.  Of note, as of this date, Grape Solar no longer advertizes this controller as one of it’s products.)
