Hi folks- I recently bought a 2014 S TAB. Id like to install a knife rack on the wall to the right of the stove. Am I going to hit any wiring if I screw into that wall? Thanks!

@Nancyp21, do not screw anything into the walls of your trailer. They are a composite (foam) sandwich and only about an inch thick. Almost everyone makes use of the 3M removable strips and hangers in some creative fashion. Putting small screws into the wood valances or cabinets is possible, and sometimes done.2017 t@b sofitel(Dr@gonsFly)TV 2015 Silverado 2500hd(Behemoth). Wyandotte, Michigan.

Trailer walls are not like building walls in that you cannot expect to drill into them and have that be a solid hold because there is foam behind the wall, not wood or foam. Most people will use a heavy duty 3m adhesive and stick to the walls, unless you know there is wood or metal behind it.2021 T@b 320 Boondock "Mattie Ross" | 2021 T@b Nights: 239 | Total nights in a T@b 455 | 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland | T@b owner since 2014

@Nancyp21, I also see this is your first post, so welcome to the forum, to the t@b family and congratulations on your trailer! If you have a bit of time, read the modification category, or do a search with key words like "putting screws in walls". You'll find lots of threads about the subject, some even include pics of wall cross sections, so you can see how they're made. Learning about your t@b is part if the adventure. Good luck and happy t@bbing!2017 t@b sofitel(Dr@gonsFly)TV 2015 Silverado 2500hd(Behemoth). Wyandotte, Michigan.

This is good stuff to learn about with a cup of coffee in the morning. A search for "screws in walls" that includes why/why not/how/how not.....

I’ve had good luck with heavy duty velcro when the Command strips won’t hold. Used it on my paper towel holder and my “charging station “ on the wall to the left of the sink.(320S) Good luck!2017 T@B 320 Max S silver and cherry red, L@dybug ("Bug" aka my esc@pe pod), TV 2015 Toyota Highlander aka Big Red
