UCamp 18 ( single dump valve mod )

If you are interested in this modification and you are attending UCamp 18. I am bringing enough parts to do 3 of these conversions. Total cost for parts $75. Do it yourself and save. Difficulty level is about a 2 out of 5. I will be available for help and instruction. Contact me ahead of time if interested.

    I can vouch for @Dalehelman ‘s work. He reconfigured mine. It works well, and so easy to dump the tanks! Thanks again Dale!

    I’d like to see how (if) this works with the front platform. The gray valve is a pain to get to.

    I would think the gray waste gate would need to pivot 90degrees with the platform...

    It can very slightly from trailer to trailer, but it is always very accessible.

    Dale, I might be interested if it makes it easier to reach the gray valve without having to crawl around on the ground at the dump station.

    Does NuCamp offer this as a kit you can order thru Elsie?  I added the platform.  I bought a right angle and straight extension to my existing pipe setup.  I still have the two ports then.  I can see the appeal of a one hook up feature.

    @TerryV6 I’ve been contemplating an extension for our black tank valve under the Outback platform. You’ve no problem with it staying connected while traveling? What’s the right angle for?

    These extensions worked okay on our last trip.  The only problem I had was when taking the hose "off" the extension started to thread off too.  I probably will make them permanant if I decide to stay with this..

    Hi Dale, Id sure like to see these as well.  Is this just a simple connect, or is there some cutting and relocating of gates involved?

    One cut to the gray water pipe to create a 90*. Everything else is bolt together. Entirely reversible if you ever wanted to. I  guarantee you will not want to.

    No fear this modification is completely reversible. I guarantee you won’t want to though. You would be #3. Keep in mind tanks must be empty and dry. The best way is to empty and flush. Then leave both gate valves open and the end caps off overnight or the last 50 miles or so.

    @TerryV6 actually, the final mod in the pic would be a good start for storing @Dalehelman 's tools and gear! Have you ever seen his set up in the back of his jeep? It's impressive! And that's just his traveling kit! :rofl:  (In his defense, he keeps an impeccably clean and well organized garage.)
