My new T@B Outback MaxS has an A/C. It works great....only one problem. The vents point to ceiling and are about an inch away from the ceiling. I am not sure this is something that can be fixed without trading out A/C. Has anyone else had this issue? While it is pointed at the ceiling, nothing below gets cool. the vents are fixed so they cannot be changed as far as direction. Anybody have a fix for this?

Amazon is kind of expensive. It also comes in a smaller size for less than $5.

I really struggle to get mine out and have to use something the to coax the filter out at first by slipping something under the tab on the filter for leverage to get it started. If that still does not work, there are just a couple of screws holding the wood trim around the opening and it takes just a moment to remove the trim.

There's plenty of older threads filled with folks adding deflectors or complete separation hardware to prevent the hot A/C exhaust from getting sucked back into the box, or from mixing with any intake air flows. Smoke tests, multi-day temperature logging, CFD runs, etc.
