Glad you had a good time and all went well... Bumpy back roads - Yep, the T@B bounces a little - You'll get used to the hitch squeeks. Soft cushions - I hought mine were too soft so replaced the foam. Heard they've changed the foam they use at some point this last year. About the only thing - T@B system wise - you can't…
I have a 2010 T@B Clam shell which had an under the counter DVD/TV which was hard wired into the electrical system. Needless to say it died and I replaced it with another under the counter set, my issue is that I do not know how to hard wire it into my electrical system and I have to run an extension chord out of the…
I use the AC in my trailer quite a bit and really didn’t have a problem other than a crack in the plastic drip pan until I improved the venting on the unit to ensure it will perform the best it can in very hot weather. The modification was very successful and the unit performs very good in 100 plus temps and direct sun.…
The AC outlets should have circuit breakers, like in your house. Inside the power converter door, there is a sticker explaining the 5 circuit breakers. On my 2018, the AC CB is the second from the front of the trailer. Look at the sticker to make sure yours are the same. Then plug the trailer in with an extension cord.…
Very nice work! Have you road tested them yet? I ask because when I replaced my air conditioner (which was in that same location in older T@Bs) with a cabinet the door would not stay closed on the road, even though I had installed the same latch dohicky used on the other cabinets. I ultimately had to add a thumb screw so i…
I only painted the air conditioner grate and I removed it to paint it. Everything else is a replacement black plastic component. I got the cable cover at rvlocksandmore.com. It cost $10.86. I got several of the parts from this site. You will definitely need Goo Gone to get the existing sealant off for any if the components…
I have replace my 15 amp fuse in slot F3 three times now and cannot figure out why it burns out. I am not hooked up to any shore power. I have tried all 15 amp devices (I can think of) and they all are working, radio, lights, fan [Alde, air conditioner(shore power)], TV, I cannot find anything that is not working. I have…
Regarding Hole in the Rock Rd near Escalante (mentioned earlier in this thread), this photo shows our Outback on a side road about 30 miles down Hole in Rock. T@B did fine, except that the air conditioner shook its retaining frame loose on one side. Fortunately it didn't fall out completely. Otherwise it did great for our…
Okay, I doubt this will be a popular mod, but I'm so tickled with it I'll toss it out anyway! Last year I replaced my air conditioner (used never) with a much-needed cabinet. This year I decided the TV (used once) was next on the block. Now I'm not one of those counter-cultural Kill-Your-Television types, but this is just…
“I will take it under advisement “ is a polite response to someone who has a different understanding of value and quality. For the same reason it would be an exercise in futility to explain why I previously owned two Land Cruisers instead of a cheaper SUV. My first camper was a used R-Pod which required extensive repair…
