I was told that driving for as little as 45 minutes was enough to fully charge the T@b's battery, but then again, I'm finding that much of what I was told by the technician at the dealer may not be correct. Before I leave for a camping trip I hook up the shore power, primarily to get the refrigerator cold. Then it runs on…
Looking for advice: I am considering simply decommissioning the Alde system altogether on my 2018 T@b 2018, which I bought in 2023. We've enjoyed the camper and are looking forward to a new season. However, the previous owner didn't tell me about how she maintained the Alde, but it seems its time to change the fluid. The…
My wife enjoys watching a movie or two while out in the wild and was not impressed with the factory options in our T@B Maxx. So begins the transformation! As we all know, the position of the factory speakers are not optimal for quality TV viewing (television not tow vehicle). I tried to think of a way to get the sound…
Out of curiosity I completed a driveway test of my 320S AC System today. The test started at 2:42 pm since it was now a hot day (87F on my home thermometer in the shade on the back of my house, 92F per Alexa for my area). I used the digital thermometer provided by NuCamp that I had mounted by the shower door about 6" from…
If your electric tongue jack is tied into the battery or tapped into 12v that's sitting behind the WFCO power management panel, you don't necessarily need to use the included 30 amp cord to operate most of its electronics. You can use any conventional 110v/20 amp extension cord (the sort you would use on something like…
Well, I am in the middle of installing mine right now. I had previously installed it temporarily so that we could pee in it on the way back to the NW after picking up our 400 in Arizona. Now I’m figuring out just where I will place the vent for the solids tank. I’d like to go right out the side wall from the bathroom. But…
Last November we purchased a 2017 320 TAB U MAX (no toilet/shower) with the factory installed Air Conditioner (A/C) removed. The previous owner removed it because of leaking and felt that the roof fan met their needs for cooling. They put a lockable vent cover on the outside and a matching wood cabinet door on the inside…
@gulfarea ; My last night of trip this week was in the TX panhandle at 100F in direct sun. As you've no doubt read on this forum, the 1" insulation in the roof cannot really compete with the Southern sun. Biggest cooling is to be found with shade... a tree, a shade cloth canopy over the T@B, clouds, etc. But I got 15F…
This is less an awning, and more a sunshade (70% solar block 10x20 tarp for greenhouses, chicken coops, etc). The Texas unblocked sun when it is above 95F and >10UV makes even a 6500BTU air conditioner struggle to keep the cabin below 80F. When a tree isn't handy, this screen still lets me get 5A charge off the solar…
Make sure the front of the radiator is clear of bugs and crud. You could try spraying water under pressure through the radiator from back to front to clear dirt as well. If that doesn't work or if your coolant isn't clear, a flush would be my next go to. Make sure the thermostat is replaced when you do the flush. I don't…
