I'd change out the digital thermostat control panel as I've seen them go bad and replaced one myself. But agree with the Alde tech as it is one of the three that's defective and since the circuit board was replaced and the problem reoccurred I'd be inclined to believe it's the thermostat panel.
I had an issue with the Alde screen that I believe was caused by mice. The screen turned on, but the touchscreen was non-functional. I tried all sorts of fixes from this forum, then took apart the Alde control. I found that the 4-lead ribbon cable from the circuit board to the screen had a couple of breaks (chews?) in it.…
How long did you give the Alde to heat the water? It'll take @ 20min. to get hot. Is your glycol level up to minimum (glycol tank is under the back shelf)? Are all fuses and breakers ok? (There are two fuses on the Alde circuit board. Under the plastic Alde cover in the two green fuse holders - careful not to drop them…
Howdy, Touch Screen is still an issue. It's fall - I'm thinking I really do want it to work properly! NuCamp gave me part numbers for an Alde Circuit Board and the Touch Screen. Anyone have any idea if I need one or the other or both? Thanks a bunch.
Well this is interesting! I’m on round two with a repeat of the above issue. I was up in Northern Michigan over the weekend and got the dreaded yellow “gas failure” triangle in my 2019 T@B 400 and did everything under the book but the Alde wouldn’t light. I even consulted with Sharon_is_Sam and still could not get it to…
The Alde on LPG uses very little 12 v power (both circuit board and control panel). I looked at another discussion regarding your Victron and I suspect it is not set up correctly. When you said “did not seem to get a good charge” what did your Victron read?
I am thinking two AA batteries would run down fairly quickly. I expect resetting the date/time when I head out is easier than checking the batteries all the time. I wonder if it would be a huge design change for Alde to install some no-volatile RAM on the circuit board. Maybe that will come with the 3030 model.
@shawnevansagency, I'm confused. Didn't you already check the fuses and confirm they were okay? And if not, don't you already have spares in the little bag you commented on earlier? In may in fact not be something simple. (see ChanW's post above) Others have reported problems with the Alde's circuit board requiring repair…
First Off, this is not that rare of an event with lots of threads on the topic across several RV Brand Forums. The wiring error changed the 120VAC Neutral, system ground, to a second 120VAC HOT conductor. Normal 120VAC Abnormal 240VAC Since the Convertor Board in the WFCO Power Center is hard wired 'on' it is toast and its…
Welcome to the Forums! There is a cable that goes from the Alde circuit board up to the back of the control panel. If you haven't noodled around in the Alde area under the driver's side bench, you need to get in there and open the Alde hatch. Inside the hatch you will find that red cable (like an ethernet cable) in the…
