@scott14 I screwed the Froli magnetic catches to the tab and then caulked around them.  I included a couple of pictures

Yoshi_TAB - Quick question I hope… have set up my Lithium system similar to yours, except I decided not to do an Inverter.  Am using 4 AWG wire from bus bars to battery assuming theoretical maximum charge @ 85 amps.  But… do I also need to run 4 AWG from negative bus to the ground bar since all the negatives tie into the ground bar directly?

Hi, I am not an electrical expert , but my answer is no. I did not. I only have the larger AWG wire to the bus bar, then 10 AWG wire from busbar to OEM ground bar. Make sure you have your battery fuse protection , sized for 85 amps as close to the batteries as possible.

Thanks. I believe I simply need to move the WFCO and Solar Controller negatives to my new negative bus bar (rather than leaving them connected to the OEM grounding bar). I believe you did this also?

Hi, I connected my battery and solar controllers to the negative busbar. Then ran a 10 AWG wire from negative busbar to the OEM busbar screwed to the floor behind the WFCO. I’d have to double check but I believe I left the WFCO ground wired to the OEM busbar.

    Hi DenisP,
I am interested in learning more about your door catch mod (May 2020 Post).
We have a 2019 T@B 400 and the door catch has worn out.  I attempted to replace it with a new catch (same as factory install) and found out that the screws were stripped out and it would not hold.  The latching force was stronger that the ability for the screws to hold.  I like your option.  Did you screw the magnets to the door/sidewall or use some type of double-stick adhesive?  Thank you for the information.
    Have a great day!

Check your dealership. Mine had big drums of it and will sell it by the gallon to your own containers.

Hi Warren.  My name is Brian.  We are thinking of making an offer on an Avia (no. 97).  We currently have a TAB 400 that I tow with either my F150 Lightning or our '16 Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel.  We split time between Kansas City and Red Lodge, Montana.  There aren't enough chargers across I-90 to tow with the Lightning.

Our Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel has a tow rating of 7,200 lbs and 700 lbs tongue weight.  If we buy the Avia I'll be using the Anderson weight distribution hitch with anti-sway.

Are you still towing the Avia with your '14 Sequoia?  If so, have you had any issues or scary moments.  I assume you are using a WDH.

I know the ideal tow vehicle would be a 3/4 ton diesel but that's not happening for us.  We plan to store the Avia inside our Barndominium and use it as guest quarters and take it out for two or three day camping excursions in the Bighorn and Beartooth mountains.  And we will have to use the Grand Cherokee for towing.

I'd really appreciate if you can share your towing experience using the Sequoia as it has almost identical towing specs.

    Thanks.

Sharon - I am always VERY careful with my image sizes.  Since the last update, all of us with travel maps in our signatures, the maps are very large.  Don't know what happened, and don't know how to fix!  Any ideas????

No worries. The Vanilla “theme” that we currently use is no longer supported. We are seeing various issues such as the large image sizing. We are currently exploring an upgrade. Thanks for your patience.

Grace, I did manage to change the outdoor light. I ended up buying a new fixture - the same shape and style but with an amber led bulb. I think it came from etrailer website, but not certain.

Did you ever get an answer to how to replace the exterior light bulb? We are looking every which way and it all looks like we will crack the lens.

Anyone have experience towing with a V6 Tacoma? Does it feel underpowered? Would the Overland Torque Tune help?

Ugh! 2015 T@B 320 floor rot at entrance. Anyone willing to share how they would think through replacing floor vs selling for whatever we can get (guessing maybe $3k given floor) and looking for newer used?

Just bought a Nu Camp Avia and I am getting heat but no hot water.
I had it on propane then switched to electric.. Water seems a little warm while heat is on.
    Any suggestions?
