Tab 400 roof insulation

I believe the roof of my tab is the same as the floor with one inch of foam insulation. Since the roof is a major source of heat in both directions, anyone thought of adding a false ceiling inside to add another inch or so of insulation?

It's the biggest source of heat in the summer for sure (based on when I had a working thermal camera).  Even winter camping, once the sun hits the roof I can feel the warm spots on the roof every 10" or so as the aluminum framing conducts the warmth inward.

If you used a series of 4" foam strips, would you try to use a birch laminate on each strip?  Go for another color / texture wood?  Cover the whole ceiling with a high resolution night sky or Sistene chapel mural?  Plaster it?

When we were at Assateague this past July, we put a 10 x 10 canopy over the TaB.  It helped and it cooled down at night.

Canopy might work if it will allow sunlight for my solar panels.
I like the sistene chapel mural lol.
