Leaving sewer hose adapter(s) in place while driving

I wanted to ask if anyone has left a sewer hose adapter(s) (90 or 45 degree) in place while driving. I have a T@B 2016 Max S with the aluminum platform installed. I did not modify the standard black and grey water dump valves. Since the platform makes it difficult to access the dump valves, I purchased a 45 degree for the grey and a 90 degree for the black, which make it much easier when dumping. However, I wanted to know if anyone has left these adapters attached to the black and grey valves while driving. The black and grey valves would be closed and you can put a cap on each adapter, but is there any issue with leave them on while driving?

I added the same extensions to my gray/black tank valves and I leave them on all the time. There were several discussions on these a couple of years ago and several other owners stated they leave them on all the time.

I also leave mine in place all of the time. Never has been an issue.

Thanks for the comments. I was hoping to leave them in place.

I did this on my Casita trailer and it should work great on any trailer. The plastic mounts fit the hose diameter great. On the outbacks with higher ground clearance I see no problem. It sure beats storing the stinky slinky in the refrigerator! Art see

Are you all talking about elbow extensions as per the OP, or the straight extensions I’ve seen discussed in other threads?John, Judi, Guinness & OD in PDX

Before I combined the black and grey outlet, I had an extension on the gray outlet. I used a large ziptie connected to the outback platform to secure and keep from drooping a bit.2015 Max S Outback | 2010 Xterra -- Retired

Yes, I was asking about the elbow extensions for the sewer hose connections.
