Sorry I don't have a photo with the sides down.

We use the tent when grandkids are with us and found the tent nice to have for the extra room on longer stays and easy to cool with the a/c when it's very hot. It is a bit of a chore to set up though so we are adding awning.

I have the T@B Max S with the Outback axles and tires, and the awning works fine.  When I ordered it, they did ask me whether or not I have the Outback, so it sounds like it makes a difference.

The awnings and visors are indeed pretty expensive.  We will take a trip or two first, before making any investment.  I think we may have access to a pop up screen room /  sun shade, which might be all we need.  I feel like I will really want some type of awning, but maybe just a tarp and some poles would suffice.  Time will tell.

The visor and the awning from Pahaque both fit a Tab 320 and a Tab 400. So glad we didn’t include them when we sold our 400! We love them both!

We're also new T@B owners and went with an AllPro Visor and 5-panel Gazelle to augment our 320 BD. We have yet to use either in the field, but both were easy to deploy and take down during our dry runs at home. The Visor falls in to the "nice to have" category, but the Gazelle, with it's fine mesh insect netting, is an essential from the point of view of this long-time tent camper.

We've yet to invest..still liking our ez ups, one has  a screen room and side panels...the smaller of the two fits perfectly behind the clamshell's galley...

@ontheroad - what screen room are you using in the galley?

A visor, and an EZ-Up over the galley is what we use for most of our trips.

@Sharon_is_SAM... it's a 10 x 10 ez up from walmart (ozark trail), purchased the side panels in the United States and found the screen room sides for it here in Canada...the screen room is actually 2 pieces so it has the 2 openings..we usually set it up just behind the galley door so it meets the open galley door...

Nice that there is screening for the pop up.  Never seen that before.

I’ve got all three, XL Visor, my custom tarp awning, and my newest addition, a 12x12 screen room. I sold my 13x13 ez up style because it was getting too hard for me to push the brackets up into place, and it was heavy. My new one is only 17# and I can easily put it up by myself. I rarely used the visor early on and now use it more often, and in the summer heat I put it on the back side keder rail with my tarp awning on the door side. My tarp awning is usually my “go to” and it’s fun. I really like having options, although delivery companies and gear makers aren’t complaining either!

We had the Mini Max Awning with roll up sides. Hated it.  We now either take a 10' or 12" Easy-Up canopy for all of our trips.
