Water comes out drain tube when going off water heater bypass

I am dewinterizing my 2019 400. I have city water hooked up currently. When I switch the hot water heater from bypass to RV I can hear the tank filling and then when it is full it will start spilling water out the drain tube on the underside. When I switch it back to bypass it will stop in a moment. Not sure what is wrong. Any ideas? Going camping tomorrow and would like to get this working. Thanks

By chance are the Alde drain valves open?

If you mean the yellow lever valves, yes they are closed.

There are several drain tubes. Can you identify exactly which one the water is spilling from?2015 T@B Max S (320)

Clear plastic tube under the Alde just inside the frame.2023 F-150 Powerboost hybrid

Can you determine what is on the other side of the leaking tube, on the inside of the service compartment? Where does that clear plastic tube lead to on the upper end?If you can provide one, a picture would be helpful as well.2015 T@B Max S (320)

If this is how the valves are currently set, that is the open position I believe.grubbster said:If you mean the yellow lever valves, yes they are closed.

Yellow lever down means the drain is closed. The line itself remains open for water to flow.

Well I am at the campsite and set up now. I studied the valve and what was leaking was the hot water drain. The lever was in the closed position but the valve must have been stuck internally. Anyway the jarring from the drive must have freed it because when I hooked up the water here it did not leak and I have hot water. Problem solved I guess.2023 F-150 Powerboost hybrid
