What mpg on the road? Does the turbos kick in a lot?
-
@Mconner we got about 13mpg on average. The turbo really only kicked in going uphill and accelerating. With a 7500# tow rating, the truck pulled it like a champ.Charles / 2020 T@B 400BDL / 2019 Ford Ranger / Cibolo, TX

Good to see another Texas based 400 being towed by a 19 Ranger. We totaled our FX4 Ranger and replaced it with a 19 Ranger Lariat 4x2. I feel the 2 wheel version deals with the load

better than the FX4. The FX4 shocks were very bouncy. -
@JCALD hot pepper ranger would have looked good. Very nice setup.
-
I do like the chili pepper red. Be sure to press the tow control button when towing. Makes a massive improvement in the way the 10 speed transmission handles the load.
-
@JCALD ours is a hot chili pepper red XLT 2X4, and we love it. Yes, the tow mode does make a big difference. Sorry to hear about your FX4.Charles / 2020 T@B 400BDL / 2019 Ford Ranger / Cibolo, TX
