Black Rubber Screw Cover for Sink

We have '18 T@b 400.  One of the rubber screw covers from the sink has gone missing.  I would like to replace it because the glass top rests on them.

The part number is:  Dometic SMEV 44990000127 OEM Screw Covers.
I found them for sale at the low price of of $35 for a pack of eight.

Does anyone know of a cheaper price?

Or maybe you would co-sign a loan to cover this cost.  I know I am being cheap, but I feel like I should get a thousand rubber nubs for $35 instead of eight.

Thanks,

Bill

If you do not need 8 of them, find several TaB 400 owners to share the cost.

Could you make a dot out of black silicone sealant?

Check your local hardware store as that’s where I found them for my former 320 T@B.  👍🏻

Stuff is great but once you open the packet be prepared to use all of it.  Resealing doesn't seem to keep it from hardening.

I stopped buying Sugru since it was so wasteful.  There are millions of different screw head covers available, it would seem if we could figure out the exact screw size we could find one easily.

In addition to screw covers falling off, the screws underneath are rusting. Anybody replace the screws with an alternative?

A nüCamp dealer said he just uses a dab of silicone caulk for the bumpers.

For a screw, @jimcenname, get a stainless steel screw from Lowe’s or your local hardware store. I only had one screw that kept rusting and it was the one I couldn’t keep a bumper on.

My 2021 has the same looking rust on just one of the sink screws...
But I believe it is the collar that the screw holds down that is rusting...not the screw itself.
That should be a dometic part, and I plan on contacting them about it when I get a chance.
The screw in your picture looks fine, but the collar is all rust like mine is.

I too ran into this issue (2021 Tab 400) and decided to use my 3D printing skills to print a replacement. You can find my file here if you want to print your own. https://www.printables.com/model/844027-screw-cover-plug-for-rv-sink  The printed replacement works fine. The first test print was in red TPU and will print more in black TPU so I have them on hand.
