Tongue Wheel or block?

When do you remove the tongue wheel?

We take it off to drive.

We have been leaving it on while camping and use it to level the T@B.

We plan to take the tongue wheel off and store on blocks for winter storage.

Thoughts?

@Kar - we do the same as you except, we leave the wheel on during storage.  Stored in an auto warehouse and it may need to be moved during storage.

I replaced the wheel on our TaB400 with the flat Foot plate, I got from our local trailer repair shop.  I can leave the foot when towing, where as the wheel needs to be removed when towing.

Because I have a motorized dolly system on mine, the jack wheel is on any time the trailer is parked—a flat foot would be pointless given how often I use it to move the trailer out of the way at home. But I do remove it for towing, obviously.
