Sound Mufflers for Air8 System

Nosing around the Truma air conditioning site (the OEM for Elwell’s Air8), I noticed they have an accessory option advertised as a “sound muffler” for the ducting system.  It claims that one muffler will reduce the noise by 50%, and two within the line would reduce the noise by 90% !  Very interesting idea; a UK-based site offers them for about $66 US equivalent.  The Air8 can be quite noisy on the high fan speed.

Given how the Air8 is installed in the TaB400, I do not think their is any room for additional air duct “mufflers”, unless they are are flexible like the original ducts.

@Denny16 they are apparently supposed to be bent to improve sound damping.  A section of ducting is cut out and replaced with the muffler.

Of course Murphy's Law states that in fine print somewhere it will say "reduces cooling efficiency by 25%".
