We picked up the ‘21 400 BDL at the end of April. It was brand new and our first inspection did not show issues. We are both realistic and know that even a ‘new’ product may have glitches that need to be fixed but we are a bit surprised by the problems with this Tab.
For example: the windows don’t latch properly and need adjustment and the curtains won’t stay up and need the tensioning adjusted.
The mppt controller will not connect via Bluetooth. After pulling it apart for the PUK, calling nuCamp and calling Victron and following all the suggestions, we cannot get it to reconnect.
The front cushions came with a tear and nuCamp quickly replaced them.
The cloth covered panels on the back wall are wrinkled and nuCamp has those ordered for us. (BTW nuCamp has been wonderful to work with.)
All these items can be addressed at a dealer.
This week, in our 7th night in the camper, the kitchen window curtain strings came apart. We are leaving it for a dealer to fix.
But now the most worrisome problem to date- This morning I was cleaning the floor and realized we have 2”-3” bubbles in the floor in front of the bath door! They spread across an 18”x6” section on the floor.
Why would the floor be bubbling?!
Both of us absolutely love this trailer. We know we have to get it to a dealer to replace the wall panels so we have been keeping a simple list for when we take it in.
We haven’t been really worried until we saw the problems in the floor. This feels much more serious.
What could
possibly cause the floor to bubble? We have had no water issues-no leaks whatsoever.
