Since the little T@B emblem next to the door had begun to lose some of its silver color, I decided to take it off and repaint it. But, instead of painting it the original silver color, I thought I'd paint it to match my trim color. Here is the result.
I removed the emblem by taking a length of strong fishing line and working it behind the emblem and sort of sawing back and forth while applying pressure from side-to-side. It left some of the original backing, but that's OK as it gave me a guide to reattach. I used a small bead of caulking to stick it back on with. Too much caulking will squirt out from the sides and leave you a mess to clean up when you apply pressure.
