Do I need a surge/EMS if I have a Battle Born Lithium Battery (LiFePO4) with built in BMS?

I have ordered a 2021 T@B 320 CS-S and plan on installing a BattleBorn LiFePO4 Lithium 12 V, 100 ah with built in Battery Management System.   I am a novice to Camper electrical systems .  Do I also need to buy a surge/EMS protector to protect electronics (AC, TV, heater, water pump, etc.).
 Any advice is appreciated!

Yes. The EMS  protects you on Shore power. The Battleborn system is battery

The EMS protects all the trailer electrical systems from shore power overload and other issues whist connected to external 120VAC connections.  So I would recommend getting a good one, that can run a check on the shore power connection before you plug your trailer in.

@jefffoss, the below link may be of interest to you.  Also, if you use the "Search" box (at the top of this forum), you can enter search terms like "surge protector" or "EMS" to find discussions about both.  Many of us have hard-wired an EMS (I installed the Progressive Industries EMS-HW30), but you can also buy a portable model that plugs in between the campground pedestal and your 30-amp power cord to the trailer.
