Why not hook up and see what your battery voltage is?  Do you mean hook up to shorepower or run via battery?

Most deep cycle batteries do not come fully charged. They sit on the shelves for a while. I would not put it directly into use without charging it fully first.

The battery has probably been stored for a while, but "a fully charged battery will hold a charge for months."  In this case, you don't know how many months.
