T@b T2 awning?

Just picked up at 2004 T2 and was wondering if the awnings for the 300 or 400 series fits the older T2's??
Thanks.

I don't think the general size and shape changed much over the years. So, assuming you have a keder rail, I'd bet more than a nickel the standard 320 awning would work just fine.

    Anybody able to confirm this?

i don't have one mounted on the side.. which is where it looks like it attaches? I have one on the top but it is filled with a black rubber/plastic tube?
Does it connect to the side? or the top?
Mine also doesn't have trim on the top edges maybe that was a fancy feature or added later?

The trim on the top is for attaching the top to the wall and covering up the screws. The keder rail runs along the side at the top. T2s were the "basic" model and did not have a keder rail.

Is it possible to add a Keder rail? Ours doesn't have one or it was removed at some point.

The factory can put one in. They have prebent rails. Annealing aluminum is hard.

If I were in a situation without a keder rail, I’d skip it and find a good pop up shelter instead—CLAM and Gazelle make ones that are easy to put up and take down solo.

As with any time you drill into the sides of the trailer, the mounting screws of a keder rail are another potential spot for water intrusion, and that era of Tab already is prone to rot issues. It wouldn’t be worth the risk to me, not when pop up screen rooms are cheap and and so much easier to put up and take down than they were a decade or two ago.

Thanks that is something to consider.
The one we bought looks like it had new floor/underlayment put in at some point its Very clean underneath and solid. and so far I have yet to find any soft spots or water damage.
There are areas where more caulking was put down along the back and front where the shell meets the next piece(not explaining that very well but..) where the Chrome trim separates the pieces
