Here are photos of all of my modifications I made to our Tab400:
1) Changed out hand crank on the hitch lift to use a 3/4 inch socket in my battery drill to raise and lower hitch.
2) Installed wireless backup camera and wired to license plate lighting wires.
3) Bug screens over out side vents to keep wasps and mice out.
4) Installed Victron Smart Solar controller under bed and ran wiring to plug on outside to connect to a 100 watt Renogy solar panel.
5) Added a step led light with motion detection and a lighted handle. Controlled by two lighted led switches (when in the on position).
6) Changed out the original table with a butcher block table, exact same size but folds down so you can sit without having the table top hit your legs.
7) Installed a two outlet cigarette lighter 12 volt adapter under the dinette cushion for usb chargers and other 12 volt devices.

@WMHart, looks like you have been busy. How did you wire the door handle and step lights (and did you do anything special to conceal the wiring)?2019 T@B 320 S Boondock Lite; 2025 Toyota Tundra CrewMax 4x4

Both lights are powered by the wires going to the kitchen 12 volt cigarette lighter outlet. The handle has the LED light in the upper handle (comes in three pieces). So I had to drill at an angle 30 degrees and you drill thru the side and come out just behind the kitchen cabinet, by moving the screen door trim out of the way a little I was able to drill into the cavity where the 12 volt outlet is screwed into. The other light was just fishing the wires down behind the round cabinet and drilling a hole from below. You have to be careful as there is other wiring and piping in that area. measure three times and drill once.

@WMHart I love that table mod so much, and if I had a place to do woodwork, I might attempt it! Did you make it yourself, and if so, how?

@Denny16 please provide a link to the screen, there are so many to choose from

Thanks for the post.
Could you please pass along the make and model of the motion activated light, the lighted handle, and your camera?
I like to tinker with our 400 and a motion activated light would be great. I might try to mount it higher so it would light up the door handle as well as the steps.
Also, do you like your camera? There are tons of options. I am not sure which to pick out.
Thanks
