Mattress topper for my tab 400

I see a lot of people recommending mattress topper from Mattress insider but has anyone ordered one for their tab 400 ? Since the tab 400 has a cornered one side will they be able to custom cut it too

There is plenty of play in the topper. If you order a stock mattress you are an inch off length and width. We found no need to pay more for perfect custom size. The corner angle is inconsequential. The elastic straps still fit over that corner. Once the fitted bottom sheet is on you can forget it and move on!

I am interested in purchasing a better, more comfortable mattress.  What's the best option for me to consider?  I see many places sell upgraded mattresses made of "memory foam" however, they are reticular and the T@B 400 mattress has an odd corner (not 90 degrees) under the tv.  Solutions and suggestions?

    Thanks!

I put a 2' latex topper from Amazon on the 400's mattress and I love the way it feels.  I put a 2" memory foam on the front dining/bed and I find it is hard to move around. I want to add a wooden edge that fits around the table with a foam piece and hooks into the dining benches to match the height of the dining cushions and I'll see if I can find a smaller latex topper for that one too.  (I roll the memory foam up and put it in a bag from a sleeping bag and keep it in the tow vehicle.)

I bought an RV mattress from Reno Mattress Company. After a few camping seasons of trying the original cushions then adding different thicknesses of mattress toppers, we found this local company.
They measured the area and made the mattress in about a week. Had a choice between a white or light blue quilted cover. It's 5" thick and quite lightweight. We took out the original cushions to save for resale.
For measurements, it was 78" across the back, 72" across in the front. The right wall length is 55 1/2" and the left wall is 8" - 9" inches for the angle and the rest of the wall is 49". I think the measurement is that they'd do the 49" cut first, and then make the angle to reach the left front and the estimate was that the angle cut would be 8" to 9". It fits the area perfectly and sits on the Froli system. A comfortable solution.
This is a 2019 Tab 400 where the rear window sits lower then it does on later models and the mattress fits fine. I'm sure that other local mattress companies would be able to make something comparable to this.

I just placed an order on this Queen-sized topper today which I will cut to fit:

I had ordered the twin size one to add to the dinette when converted into bed mode as the standard cushions are a bit thin without the Froli system.  I cut it to fit the dinette sleeping area and it works great and was easy to cut with standard scissors.  I roll it up when not in use, tie the roll with a shoestring, and put it in a long king pillowcase.  It's quite useful as a back rest cushion in the back bed when not in use unrolled over the dinette bed cushions.

I think the standard cushion-on-Froli that the T@b comes with is not that bad, honestly.  In a previous RV we had to get a whole new mattress because the stock mattress pads were so bad.  But, the Froli system is amazing in how much it helps.  But I wanted a little more padding, too.  Before buying the Queen-sized version of the topper I first tried my dinette-sized one on half of the back bed for a night to test and I really enjoyed the extra cushion it added.  I also had to get approval from my wife because she likes a very firm bed and thought the standard cushion-on-froli was just fine.  She could tolerate the extra padding of this (2") topper.

I put the topper directly on top of the mattress(s), then cover the mattress/topper with a mattress pad, and then put the fitted sheet over that.  So, all that to say, the topper linked above is affordable, doesn't smell, is super easy to cut and works great.

Though spendy, we're happy with the Exped Duo inflatable mattresses, in the LW+ size.  They have three thicknesses.

I'm using a 2" 100% Latex topper and it is wonderfully comfortable. Here is a link to it and a photo of mine installed. I laid it out on a clean tarp in my garage and cut it to size with a razor knife.
Latex is great to sleep on and much nicer than the memory foam toppers I've had in the past. We liked the latex topper so much, we now have one on our home bed and on our guest room bed.

Just bought a trifold Inofia 6 inch. Very comfortable, we are not small, we sleep on our sides mostly. This is out second tab, first was a 320. I researched custom RV mattress, quite a bit of info on the Nucamp Owners FB site. but beware. These custom ordered rv mattress are heavy. Also, you may need to get under your bed for the Alde or battery issues, very hard to lift mattress and the wood cover to get to these areas. Good luck!
