Rear mounted bike rack

Has anyone added a rear mounted bike rack on a 400? If so, where? On body of camper? Some sort of extension from the frame? Seems like something might be possible. Need a place to carry
our e-bikes. Can’t lift them up on a Jack-It rack. Bikes won’t fit inside 400. Tow with a 2018 Honda Ridgeline with a tonneau cover.

The TaB frames are not designed to support the weight of a rear bike rack.  Most use a rack mounted over the tub or over the hitch.

We had the same issues. We knew the back would not work after talking to NuCamp. We tried a hang on rack on the car but it would hit the trailer when turning. We went with the Jack -it and figured out an easy way to load the bikes. We love it and got the Bump-it that we can use after we get to a site and take bikes on just the car.

The trick, for us at least, is putting a bungie on the front wheels so they will not flip and turn. Makes it easy for us. I can even do myself. Better with help but can work. Good luck!!

Anything you put on the tongue adds to your tongue weight. If you are using an appropriately sized vehicle, non issue. If you’re trying to get aware with a bare minimum or inadequate tow vehicle, forget a bike rack.
