Greetings! New owners of a very lightly used ‘21 320S Boondock. We upgraded from an ‘18 TAG XL Outback (boondock). We thought it was time to have a cup of coffee inside.
I just got back from a 2,000 mile round trip to pick it up, traveling from northern Idaho to Colorado and back. It was a crash course in getting to know the characteristics of towing the trailer. Four mountain passes each way, including the continental divide, black ice warnings, a blizzard in Wyoming where I was in 4wd for about 120 miles on the interstate, and 30 mph crosswinds - all with the trailer. The weather guy said “30 mph winds today around Cheyenne but no high winds.” I guess it’s all relative. And to cap it off the Montana highway patrol had a high speed pursuit and standoff with an armed man that shut down the interstate for 6 hours. More than I bargained for just to pick up a trailer!
The trailer did great through all of this. Tow vehicle is a 4wd F-150 so that helped. The 320 pulled with no problems, the brakes worked great descending the passes, and I have no complaints about the towing/handling experience.
Now I’m ready to learn all the new things about the 320S. I think I had the TAG pretty much figured out but now there’s a whole lot of new things to get obsessed about. I’m looking forward to reading and learning from all the experienced people on this forum. Now, where to start on the mods???

Sounds like you had quite the adventure. Welcome aboard the TaB community...
cheers
The only mod I’m likely to take on soon would be the $10 pwm fantastic fan fix. I did that on the Tag and was happy with the results. And I’ve done it once so the second time should be easy.
Looking forward to the many informative discussions that take place here.
