Diy 2 gal garden sprayer shower for RV travels

I found how to make the below "shower" on youtube, very easy to make with 3parts from home depot, it really works as an extra shower, to wash the tab, spray anything. 2 gal sprayer container gives a nice shower. We'll be non electric camping this summer and I plan to use this help limit our battery usage.

That is a really nice one. Did you make one?  Send us the youtube linky.  Verna has suggested this method for years.  I have the sprayer she suggested: smaller, but still extremely useful.

This was from adventurevanman youtube site, he did a good job showing the parts and how to.   It works very well. There are a lot of other youtube sites that have made this but I think his was the easiest to follow.  I added an aquarium thermometer to the container to see the temperature.

If you painted/covered it in black and left it in the sun, do you think it would heat up the water?

...in theory...trick would be getting the paint to stick.  scuff the surface then clean thoroughly before painting...

Some sites told of painting it, but I will  just put cold water in first then hot to proper temp.  The 2 gal container is pretty thick might be hard to get solar heat into it.  What's nice about this is the length of tubing from the container plus the kitchen sprayer tubing makes it 7.5 feet long. Plenty of length to work with.

They do make spray paint for plastic.

Or just wrap it in black tape like gaffer tape.
