Cushions - sides of 2021 T@B 320S

Is there any reason why the side bench cushions are attached to each other by the strips of fabric (the back cushion is attached to the seat cushion).  The back cushion sticks to the velcro on the wall and I guess it's attached to the seat cushion to keep it from sliding around?

There would be more room lying down as a twin bed if the back cushion could just be removed.  Has anyone separated the back cushion from the seat cushion?  Thanks!

I hear what you’re saying. Same issue and question.  We came up with something that helps us. If you slide those fancy new bed slat seats out about 3” or so you can slide the vertical cushion behind the horizontal one. That gives you the full width of horizontal cushion to lay on. You still have room to put your feet on the floor to put your slippers on. And the vertical cushion insulates the wall which helped in the cold. We haven’t done this in hot weather yet.

The first thing we did was to cut off the straps that attach the bench seat cushion to the back cushion.  Easier to move the cushions individually.
