Seems like a lot of them use a custom cushion which I didn't want to mess around with. Made this folding L table with locking brackets that uses a standard cushion. Table was opened up to make it lighter but that's not strictly necessary. It's held in place by hook and loop. Loop faces down and attaches to the utility access cover. Just a couple of staples will hold it. Loop stores under cushion when not in use. Pictures are a little out of order but hopefully you get the idea.
And I picked up a second Laguna table bracket and mounted that just to get it a little further out of the way to make getting out a little easier. The table can go in its' original location when the bed is down, but it's right there in a not very good location.
Do the notches on the edge of the top serve a purpose? Cutting out the elongated holes on each plate serves to lighten the addition? Would you have cut holes less now that you’ve used it for a while?
