Picking up our Tab 320 tomorrow and have a question

We're picking up our 2022 320s BD tomorrow afternoon from the dealer, about 19 miles from home. I seem to remember someone on this forum saying we should bring 100-200 lbs of weight to put in the trailer? Would we just put it on the floor? Or in that front tub? The dealer provides a full propane tank and a lead acid battery, so that weighs something. We are totally new to this, so thanks for any advice.

If you are bringing extra weight. up front of axle is the idea. In tub or otherwise has worked for us. If you keep it below 55mph, it really won’t matter much. Congratulations!2021 T@B 400 BD / 2020 Ram 1500, Northwest Arkansas

I've never heard of this before. You don't need to do that. I've picked up three brand new T@bs in my life and never put any weight in it. It's already engineered with proper weight ratios. You just need to be mindful of the placement of your cargo when you go camping.

Thank you both for your quick response! Maybe we just need to relax.

The TaB does ride better with more weight in it. Having said that, we transport it empty 2 hours away to Sugarcreek to have work done by nuCamp and do just fine. I think our 96# battery helps as our tongue weight is 240#.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

The easiest way to add some weight to improve stability, mis to simply fill the TaB’s water tank, and Bob’s your uncle...

Thank you for your responses. We are learning! We got our Tab safely home yesterday and will start figuring things out more today. So much to learn. Will be staying two nights at a nearby camp ground in a couple weeks. I only hope our Minnesota spring allows us to dewinterize before then! P.S. We've already had three curious neighbors wanting a tour inside!

Doing a driveway camp is a good way to familiarize yourself with the T@b before your first trip.Rich2019 T@b 400
