Draining Fresh Water

When I drain the fresh water tank using the drain valve, will this also drain the pump? I do not want to have to go through re-priming the pump from taking it dry.

I'd love to get your process for 'priming' the pump when/if needed....Ultimate Toys Teardrop Camper

In my experience draining the tank will require re-priming the pump. There is no "process" per se--the pump should be self priming--but the process will introduce air into the lines that will need to work itself out when you open the taps.

I've never had to prime the pump on my 2022 after draining the water tank. I empty the fresh water tank and open the hot and cold water low point drains after each trip.
