Sanitizing fresh water system

We are new to NuCamp this year, having had other brands for nearly 50 years.  To sanitize our previous campers, we added a cup of bleach to the fresh water tank and then run it through the faucets to empty.  Then rinse the tank and system with the city water hookup.

I don't see a sanitizing procedure in the Nucamp Owners Manual.  How do you do it?

Doug, Same procedure, except, you set the Nautilus system to Sanitize mode, which bypasses the Alde hot water system.  On older models that do not have the Nautilus, set the Alde bypass valve to bypass mode to keep, the bleach solution out of the hot water tank and Flo tank.  You use the water tank syphon setting to get a bucket with beach and water mixed together, to get the bleach solution in the tank.

You do not need to bleach the stainless steel hot water tanks, as they should be drained after camping and storing the TaB between seasons, and they do drain all the water from them.  You can also blow out the Alde system, with a low pressure, high volume compressor set to 30/35 psi.

For the 30 gallon tank you only need 1/2 cup of bleach.  Leave it in there for a few hours and rinse out twice.

I just directed someone else to this question.  Scroll to the bottom of the linked page for step by step instructions.  These can be found under the Owners Manual Category:  Dewinterizing and Sanitizing.
