Very poor hot water flow

The flow from any tap (Tab 400) in the hot position is a trickle, and it does not matter if the regulatory valve is screwed almost all the way in or out till it is almost coming apart.  I have had the regulatory apart.  It would seem that there is a constriction within the Alde tank or some line either leading to or from the tank. Is there a way to flush the Alde tank water line (not the glycol) or back flow it? Or is there some other approach?

What year TaB400, and by regulator valve do you mean the hot water mixing valve?
You can hook up city water fill the Alde hot water tank and Flow tank(if you have a newer 400),:then open the yellow pressure relief flipper valves on the floor of the Alde compartment to flush out the hot water tanks.
That said, restricted hot water flow, normally indicates an issue with the hot water temp mixing valve, also in the Alde compartment.  Newer TaB400s, this is a red caped valve at the forward end of the Alde compartment.

@Edward - there have been several reports of defective mixing valves.  It sounds like that is the problem.  Contact a dealer to get the parts under warranty.
