AC for Tab 320 cs

I have a 2019 Tab 320 cs - no bathroom -which means my AC is on the floor. It was not set up properly when installed - drain plug was still in the drain hole. So calcium buildup has caused the metal (covering the condensation rods) to deteriorate. We want to replace the AC. Can we replace it with a regular window AC that fits in the same area?

We just replaced ours with a 6000Btu Frigidaire unit. It has a thermostat.

in our 2018 320cs the documentation and installation instructions for the ac unit in our T@B is for a window ac unit. Your's is probably similar. I am looking to install ours on a slide out tray since the installation instructions call for specific conditions; a window unit is not meant to be used in an enclosed space...

We have the same trailer. The Frigidaire is the same size except the feet are about 1/2in farther back. So, the new unit sticks out into the cabin more. You are correct, it would be happier with a lot more space to get cooling air. I'm working on increasing the vent size. Let us know how the slide out idea goes.
