I have a 2023 Tab 320 with Jensen TV connected to the Jensen radio. Anyone know the trick to getting the tv sound to play through the speakers? Is it a tv setting, connection, or not an option? Thank you for the info!
I use HDMI connected devices (through the port on the Jensen), switched to HDMI-IN and it automatically plays sound through speakers. I haven't used "pure" TV, so I have no idea how it should work. Maybe try Vol+ on the radio? It might be something similar to here: https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/11176/no-sound-on-tv
If the televisions audio output rca jacks are connected back to the Jensen radio then it would be through the Aux input of the Jensen radio. Pressing the HDMI/AUX button would bring that up if there is a connection.
This would be active if you are playing your source directly through the input ports on the TV. I’ll have to look at my Jensen TV and see if there is a cable there. If there is it might have to be selected from the TVs setup menu to switch from speakers to audio out.
Since the Jensen radios front HDMI port is a pass through port that’s the easiest way to get the audio through to the radio speakers.
edit: I just looked at my Jensen TV, there is an RCA cable connected to the audio output that goes back to the Jensen radio unit. The only connection for that would be the Aux input on the back of the radio. I’ve never connected anything directly to my TV so I’ve never tested it. If I wanted to test it, I would connect something to the TV input, select that input from the TV input menu and see if the audio output has to be changed from tv speakers to audio out. Then press the HDMI/AUX button on the radio head unit.

@Charlessyverson, read my two comments in the discussion link posted above by @californication. The issue is usually solved by using your TV remote audio setting via the MENU to turn the TV speaker(s) "off."
So I got it to work. At max volume on the stereo, it is louder than the tv, but not nearly as loud as I would expect. Any other settings or ideas to improve the volume?
We were never happy with the sound for the TV coming from the back and always sitting closer to one speaker than the other. The solution was a small soundbar mounted below the screen. The rear speakers are now dedicated to Bluetooth music/news.

@Charlessyverson & @TerryV6 The sound bar that I purchased was a Majority Bowfell from Amazon. At the time it was just a cheap experiment to see how it would work. The idea was to possibly replace it with something better quality if it did. That was four years ago and I'm still using it. Finding something better is still on my mind, but it has worked fine so there's been no motivation to move it to the top of my mod list.
Looking at the current specs, it says it takes an 18V power supply. I'm assuming that's what mine from four years ago had, but it's mounted in such a way that I don't have access to see the back to confirm that. At any rate, I hardwired it into the T@B's 12V system and it has never had a problem with that. For reference, the 27" Samsung monitor in the picture above had a 14V power supply and I've also hardwired that with no issues. Most of these DC devices seem to be pretty forgiving as far as exact voltage goes.
