2016 T@B S Max Black Tank Information Query

Does anyone have information (manufacturer, model number, etc) on the black tank used in the 2016 T@B S Max units? I recently have experienced a leak of the black tank. The RV shop thinks it might be the black tank itself and so I asked for an estimate, if it had to be replaced. They advised that they contacted NuCampRV, but NuCampRV was unable to provide any information on the tank.  So, I also sent an email to NuCampRV and they provided me with the same response adding that since our 2016 unit was built by Little Guy, they have no information on our blank tank. They stated that after the split in 2017/2018, little Guy took all the build records and that NuCampRV (Pleasant Valley) does not have any of the records for units built by Little Guy. So, I thought I would inquire here if anyone has any information at all that may be helpful.  By the way, my 2016 T@B S Max has the 6 gallon black tank.

That odd and a little disconcerting since I have a 2015 with the same tank.

Pleasant Valley  (now nuCamp) was still the manufacturer of Little Guy T@Bs. And they retained the manufacturing rights to T@Bs after the 2017 split. Build records or not, I would think somebody would know what black tank they put in thousands of units in those years. I hear there been some turnover at nuCamp, but still...

@duckblind123, you wrote that the RV shop "thinks" it might be the black tank itself (e.g., a crack in the body of the tank).  It is unclear if the RV shop actually inspected the black tank, but if they did, without knowing more, that suggests they may not have performed an adequate inspection to locate the source of the leak.  It could just be a break/crack in the drain pipe fitting.

I am not familiar with the location of the tank, or how it is attached to the toilet in your trailer, but that would be worth exploring since it might be a relatively simple repair (although it may require dropping the tank to access the fitting).  There are discussions on this Forum regarding similar leaks on more recent model T@Bs, but I did a quick search more relevant to your model/year and found the discussion thread included below, which may provide some helpful info.  (NOTE: while doing that search, I saw an October 2017 post from you regarding a black tank leak on your trailer, which you resolved by replacing the pipe - - - is it possible that is the source of the current leak?)

That was my thought on the leak.  Since it leaked once, it might leak again.  So, thank you for the link. I'll take a better read of it and see where I can go from here.  Thanks again.
