Remove duct tape residue from 2021 tab400 BD exterior

What is the safest way to remove duct tape residue from exterior Azdel and plastic and rubber trim? (I taped down loose black rubber trim that was flopping around during heavy wind when coming across Kansas!) Thanks! See photo

WD 40 is the only.product that won't damage the cheap plastic trim. The fiberglass exterior is more forgiving, but I only use WD-40 on my rv.

I would try GooGone. Citrus based and works really well. Test it someplace inconspicuous?

I second @Gomers2's suggestion. GooGone has worked well for me, although I do not recall specifically using it on the plastic trim, so the testing suggestion is good.

Ooh, that's a bummer. That's a much stronger product, for paint spills I think. Now you need a bigger bumper sticker😁

I use lighter fluid. It has never had a negative effect on any of my plastic items so far and breaks down most lable and tape adhesives.

I’ve avoided duct tape ever since I needed to remove it cleanly. No luck.
Aluminum foil tape is a lot easier to use. I’ve heard good things about about gaffer’s tape too, though no personal experience with removing it.
