    OK, that made me laugh….   I'm pretty decent at backing, but I don't think I've ever had my Jetta going that fast backward with a trailer!  :)

    Spoke with a fellow last week who has one-- he hadn't heard anything yet about a "fix," but he said he had received a sizeable (maybe $1000) rebate/credit or something from VW. I have the previous "PD" or BEW engine, so I'm good, I guess… still like the car very much, but am very envious of the 6-spd in the newer BRM cars.
