Norcold 3 way door

Has anybody switched the door to other side? I find I am frequently reaching in from outside the T@B to load or unload it, or to grab something I need while I am cooking outside, and think it would be easier if it swung open from right to left instead of the installed left to right. Anybody else?

Be very hard to open and get into while standing inside though wouldn't it?

Yep, maybe, but for whatever reason, I seem to be accessing it from outside about 80% of the time.  And, I am usual sitting on the bench or slat/cushions when I access it while inside the other 20% of the time, so maybe not...one way to find out, I guess.

Shouldn't be too hard to find out.

Yes Sally, we switched ours. Same reason you want to. Works fine. Easy to do.

I agree - it would be easier when outside, but think @PXLatedis probably right about it being hard hen inside.

Swapping the door around is on my to-do list. As I recall, the paperwork that came with the Norcold has some instructions on how to do it (not that it looks particularly hard).

Whether it's convenient or not depends on how you camp. So far we have always cooked outside with a portable stove and grill, so I know exactly where you are coming from. Anyway, if it doesn't work out, it shouldn't be too difficult to put it back the way it was!
