Positive and negative wires to battery from trailer?

Today I went to put the battery back into the T@b after having it on a Battery Tender all winter. Then I looked at the two cables, and thought, uh oh, this is more than just a positive and negative wire. I thought I was going to have to ask you guys for help, and then I remembered I had followed a forum member's suggestion last fall and I had taken and printed a photo of where the cables were attached before I removed the battery. Then it was a snap to put back in. I get it de-winterized tomorrow and then hopefully, down to Texas in a few weeks. BTW, I did first try to find the answer in the Owners Manual, which does specify that the cable with the fuse goes on the positive, and that both white cables go on the negative. But without the photo I would not have been sure where to put the red cable. So you newbies, take photos of anything you plan to mess with in the T@b and that can be a big help in getting things back to the way they started.

Ever since I opened up a VCR and had springs go flying with no idea where they came from I'm real careful and take pics if anywhere near complex.

I don't think my T@B has a VCR.  What is it and where is it located?

You know, there may be some around here that are asking what a VCR is and how do they get one for their T@B?

My VCR was originally in the tongue box, but I had to relocate it when I upgraded to the larger group 27 battery. It's now next to the water pump, behind the little door above the toilet. It's a tight squeeze, but it's nice not getting rained on when I go to change the tape!

ScottG - Good move - Much easier to get at then in the battery box or under the bench seat.

During the installation, I did lose a few springs down into the zone behind the wall. Still seems to work okay, though.

Just beware. That big spring doesn't release anything, but tapes. A peanut butter sandwich just doesn't want to leave the VCR no matter how many times you press "eject".

When I ordered mine, I did a custom order and had a Beta installed....

A Beta, nice, great quality, but it is tough to get tapes for it.

My DH had a circa 1980 Betamax when we met. Last time we were first adopters of anything!

I really did flip a coin when deciding between bluray and HD. For once, I (the coin) picked the right one. Normally, given a 50-50 chance to choose the right thing, I normally pick wrong.

Hard to image that there was a time, as a software manager at CompUSA, I would recommend people just get an 8.4GB hard drive (at the low price of $90) because that was really the only thing Windows 95 could handle without getting into too much technical detail.  I would tell them, "Besides, you are never going to need that much space."

Now I just read a short article about a Lytro Cinema camera that processes 400GB of data PER SECOND.

I believe Dr Who is streaming on Amazon Prime. True story: in the early 80s our local PBS station broadcast Dr Who at midnight. My employer used to advertise on the show for Unix systems engineers because "the kind of people who are awake at midnight watching Dr Who are the kind of software developers we want to hire."

That is fantastic.

Used to watch it as a kid on PBS, my father loves sci-fi too, and it was just about the only sci-fi on at the time.

Don't care for the newer one now though.

I bought a 40 Meg HD for 400 bucks.   I was at sams one day and a guy told me he had a 1 gig drive.   Wow I said,  what are you going to do with all that room?   He told me he had to partition it cause does 3.3 didn't handle that much space well.   I was happy to upgrade my 300 baud modem to a 1200.  Of course I was online before the Internet...

My first serious hard drive was 400 megs and cost $4k
My first modem was an acoustic coupler - don't have a clue what the baud rate was.

Hard disk?  I had 5.25 floppies and a screaming 40 character screen.  Now that was a computer.  26 pound sewing machine.   

Dr. Who, that's on TV.  Won't play on the Betamax in my T@B.  How about radio version of the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (I still have all five seasons of the radio show).  Don't need a television to enjoy (since I don't have a TV in my T@B -- ah yes, this is a T@B forum, right?)
