Outside shower is disappointing - looking for potential mod ideas!

Thanks Photomo for this discussion; I was on the fence about possibly getting the outdoor shower. We thought it at least useful for rinsing the dog etc.

Well, I haven't given up. If I could find some type of shower head that actually cuts off the water instead of the trickle feature, I think it would work okay.

Has anyone considered using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSWPYIG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 as a water cut-off? I purchased one because I got a shower head replacement that wasn't made for marine showers. Just a thought for all you outside showering folks!

PS I haven't installed it yet. Too nice of a day for a bike ride! Vrrrroooooom!

Did anyone solve this?  Has anyone come up with a good mod for a better outside shower head or do we just live with it as is?
