How are folks managing the heavy cord that comes with the Tab and any extension cords?  Are you using a reel?  If so, what brand?

Just curling it up like it was when I got it - Use a couple of ball bungies to secure it.

Hard to get it to curl really tight so I'd suspect so.
In colder weather it's hard to get it to curl at all. gets pretty stiff.

We just traveled from Florida (90s) to New York (40-50) early in the morning and back.  Much easier to coil electric cord and hose the further south we were.  We use super sized twist ties that we found at Home Depot and have seen on Amazon.  We have found overcome the stiffness issues allowing for tighter coiling than bungee cords.

Not talking "bungie cords" but small "ball bungies" - Can get them as tight as you need them. You can get them in different lengths - Look like this...

We are using gear ties that I purchased at Home Depot for electric cords and for water hose. They plastic coated bendable wire and are similar to short ones I use for electronic cords.  They are about 18 inches long and extremely easy to use. After each use and when moving to new camping areas I use a rag to wipe off any grit/dirt/moisture collected from sitting on the ground and I make a small coil of the 30 amp cord and place it just inside the trailer (behind the trailer door) on the floor as my last task at each camp site.  The cord lays flat during travel and when I unlock the door it is handily ready to be plugged in at the next location and is the first thing I do when I arrive.  If I'm boondocking I have also left it coiled up and stored in the small area beneath the Norcold unit as that is also a very handy storage spot and allows for easy access when I need the 30 amp cord.  I've also left it coiled up and in the bed of my pickup truck too at times, but did away with using bungy cords as for me I didn't really need them and the cord is heavy enough to stay coiled and in place in about any spot it is stored.

I use Gear Ties as well, coil it up and place it in the tongue box for storage.

I have a small baggage door hatch right next to my 30 Amp electrical outlet on the driver side. That's where my electric cord lives. I just start shoving it inside that hatch, with "dirty towel" in the other hand wiping it down as it goes in.

I do wut M_Mike said. Keep in mind that if you use something that coils it, make sure you uncoil it when it's plugged into shore power. A cord produces heat and a coiled one pulling a lot of amps can melt. I agree with PXL. Them things are are to deal with in cold weather!

Since I rarely have hookups, I store mine in the back of the Jeep with the generator.
