Air conditioner mount inside T@B

While most of you know we are new to camping and to the T@B, she still sits in storage. We are NOT new to banging our heads. I hit that sharp corner on the air conditioner frame/mount and had it not been for my glasses, this gal would have been a mess. Have any of you done alterations on yours? I am thinking of corner protectors often used to keep children safe from those dangers. One corner is sharper than a knife edge.

I cut up a piece of a kid's swimming noodle and glued it to the sharp corner.   And I made it from a bright color so I might see it out of the corner of my eye if I was getting close.

You could also use a tennis ball.

This corner is a safety problem. I had a hard time finding a corner protector that was small and would look good (always try to keep it looking awesome !). I used round adhesive stick on pads for chair legs. Cut them into quarters (pie shaped) and fit them around the 3 sides meeting at the point. It is discrete and has saved us from numerous holes in the head.

I tried rounding it with a file and sandpaper, which pretty much failed, and I continue to dent my head on it.

A square rubber foot might work, with two sides cut off. 

I'll have to look around.
