Well, I just got home with our new-to-us 2017 T@B Outback. I had originally been looking for something smaller but I stumbled on an ad for a T@B Outback late last week. The price is real close to what I would pay for a T@G Outback XL and the original owners only used it for the summer. 48hrs later I'm looking at it up in Austin, 72 hours after than I'm towing it home. We didn't think this was in our price range but it's a reality!
So much to learn but we are super excited to join the club. Nights in Chisos Basin just got a whole lot more comfortable!

The JKU pulls it just fine. I was a bit nervous but, at one point on the toll, I looked down and realized I had crept up to 75mph because I was just keeping pace with traffic. I slowed it down to around 65 from there. When it hits bumps or swells on the road it doesn't disrupt the Jeep nearly as much as I thought it would and it doesn't bounce around either. Other than the hit to my MPGs, it tows beautifully.
